This is a one stop shop for signposting to local support services for voluntary services such as befriending, carers support, community transport etc Family information support and services for children and young people. Some helpful exercises published by Arthritis Research UK which can be a good initial port of call for dealing with common joint problems such as back pain or shoulder pain. These exercises may also be useful during the waiting period for a physio appointment. We also have leaflets available at the surgery which provide general information about several joint conditions as well as general tips on staying active and choosing a form of exercise that is right for you. Please ask at reception for details.

We offer a general health checks to all our patients, which includes advice on smoking cessation, alcohol consumption, diet, weight, exercise and stress management.
We take health promotion very seriously. If you have concern about any health issues or about keeping fit and well please feel free to make an appointment with one of the nurses or doctors.
