We aim to provide help and advice on diagnosing and managing respiratory diseases. For patients with established conditions this is achieved by asking patients to attend the surgery for a regular review of their medication.
We advise those with known asthma to follow the asthma management plan on the asthma uk websitehttp://www.asthma.org.uk/advice-asthma-action-plan These plans can also be obtained from the practice or Presteigne Pharmacy if you don’t have access to this useful website.
Presteigne pharmacy offer advice on inhaler technique and help you complete your asthma management plan and it is of benefit if this is carried out before attending for your annual medication review with the practice.
Appointments can be made at any time during general surgery hours, please ask for a double appointment.
